Description of the Contract
Four-storey building of Terminal North 2 is the next key phase in airport’s development. It supports the position of Prague as an important transport joint in Central Europe. The arrival hall is situated approximately by Terminal North 1. The departure hall will be linked to future overhead road. Automatic luggage sorting facility will be located in 1st underground storey; the 2nd underground storey is allocated to offices and lounges of airway companies. Connective structure and finger C, allowing access to airplanes, link to main building. SATRA company has elaborated working drawings of elevators and airing technique for connective structure – construction 2.2. Specialists from the company play an active role in a team which ensures technological coordination between individual structures. EUropa project, which includes Terminal North 2, connective structure and finger C, represent an investment of 10 bln CZK. New terminal opens the door for improvement of business activities of Czech Management of Airports, it will increase operation efficiency of the airport, and it will raise the value of the company for presumed transformation and privatisation. It will allow for separate check-in of flights within Schengen states and it will increase capacity of the airport to 10 mln passengers a year.
